Grading Policies
Grades are based on a point system
Tests = 100 points
Homework = 10 points
Review Study Guides = 50 points
Projects = Varying from 100-300 points
Mini Projects = 50 points
Even though some assessments are worth less than others, all will affect your grade!
Assignments are due on time.
Any assignment that is turned in LATE will be accepted with a LETTER GRADE
reduction for every CLASS it is late
Extra Credit Options

Complete all assignments for that marking period.
Extra credit will be autmatically added to the final marking period grade if all assignments are in!
(this includes assignments turned in late! So get them in!)

Complete current event worksheet. (see link below)
Extra credit will be given where needed most.

Complete discussion questions.
The response should be typed or written with the question as the heading. In order to get full credit the response must be at least a paragraph of 4-5 sentences. There will be about 3 questions each marking period. Students may do one or all three to receive extra credit towards assignments, projects, or tests.
